The relay agent is offline or refuses a host

Steps through an agent say exactly why they couldn’t run.

  1. “Agent … is offline”: start it again and check its log; it reconnects by itself after network trouble. The rest of the run is skipped with that reason.

  2. “isn’t on the allow list”: the message names the host:port to add to AGENT_ALLOW; restart the agent after changing it.

  3. “method … isn’t in AGENT_METHODS”: the agent is read-only; allow the method or run that step elsewhere.

  4. “doesn’t know this token”: the token was replaced or the agent removed; make a new token under Relay agents.
