Set up two-factor (TOTP) for a test account

1. Open Manage environments… and the environment’s test accounts.

2. Paste the account’s TOTP secret: the base32 secret, or the whole otpauth:// URI from its QR code.

3. Run the flow: the code is computed at sign-in time.

Other kinds of codes

Codes sent by email are read from the environment’s test inbox (Mailpit or Mailtrap). Codes by SMS work with a Twilio test number. A fixed code works for test accounts that accept one.
