Sources and scanning

Connect GitHub to an organization

Read public and private GitHub repositories in your projects: Journey Lanes finds their endpoints, entities and roles.

  1. Open the account menu → Organization → Code hosts and choose Connect GitHub.

  2. On GitHub, choose the account or organization and the repositories Journey Lanes may read. Connecting a GitHub organization needs one of its admins.

  3. Back in Journey Lanes, open a project and choose Add code or API: the repositories appear in a list.

  4. Optionally, under Code hosts, choose which repositories projects may use.

What Journey Lanes can do with it

The GitHub App asks for Contents: read and Metadata: read, nothing else. A short-lived token is made for each scan; no long-lived token is stored. Uninstalling the app on GitHub, or disconnecting here, ends access.

Journey Lanes doesn’t keep your files: it keeps what it found in them (endpoints, entities, roles). Help me and Explain this failure read code when you use them.
