Add a GitLab or Bitbucket repository

GitLab (gitlab.com or a self-hosted instance) and Bitbucket (Cloud, Server or Data Center) are read the same way as GitHub.

  1. To pick from a list: account menu → Organization → Code hosts → Connect GitLab.

  2. Otherwise, in the project’s sidebar choose Add code or API, pick GitLab or Bitbucket, paste the repository’s URL and add an access token with read access (for Bitbucket app passwords: username:password).

  3. A self-hosted server on your own network is reached through a relay agent.

Connections see what the connecting person sees

A GitLab or Bitbucket connection uses the account of whoever connected it. Connect with a group or bot account that only sees the repositories you want to use.
